Responding to Need: Unilever Supports US Food Banks at a Time of Rising Demand | New

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ–(BUSINESS WIRE)–August 30, 2022–

Unilever partners Feeding America and Kids in Need help distribute proceeds to food banks and schools in local communities in New England, New York, Texas, Arkansas, California and more .

“Just as we are witnessing the end of pandemic relief efforts, record increases in food prices and high gasoline prices are driving more and more people to food banks and daycares. eat to get help,” said Erika Thiem, supply chain manager at Feeding America. “We are grateful to partners like Unilever who are increasing their donations of food, personal hygiene and homecare products to support our efforts to expand equitable access to communities that need it most.”
