June 1, 2022 – NEWARK, NJ – NJ PBS, New Jersey’s public television network, announced that its news division, NJ Spotlight News, will provide comprehensive, cross-platform primary day coverage in New Jersey on Tuesday, 7 June. Coverage will include live reports from key campaign headquarters and insight from the press team and political analysts.

Throughout the day, NJ Spotlight News will post coverage of the statewide primary elections on its NJ Decides 2022 Politics Hub at NJSpotlightNews.org.

Then the newsroom weeknight show, NJ Spotlight News with Briana Vannozziwill report on the primary election on its regular broadcasts at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. that evening, followed by a live NJ Decides 2022: Primary Night special at 10 p.m. on NJ PBS (check local listings). Anchored by Briana Vannozzi, coverage will include information from Senior Political Correspondent David Cruz, Senior Writer and Special Projects Editor Colleen O’Dea, as well as other analysts.

There will also be a live primary update after polls close on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel at 8:30 p.m., anchored by Vannozzi.

In between, NJ PBS viewers will see live election updates as they should be throughout the evening.
