General NRG Rocket League team rolls fan vote for New Jersey design

Fans can vote daily July 6-20 from four designs for the team’s Season XI jersey

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, USA, July 6, 2021 / – The General® Insurance and NRG Esports announced today that fans can vote for the new General NRG Rocket League team jersey for Rocket League Season XI. As part of the historic partnership between the two sides that was announced in April, fans can choose their favorite from four jersey designs. Voting begins today, July 6, at and fans will be able to vote daily for their favorite design until July 20.

Designed in collaboration with META, the four unique jerseys feature sleek and contemporary designs with the new logo of The General NRG. Each jersey design also includes a notable patch on the lower right front displaying a trophy representing the 2019 World Championship victory surrounded by multiple stars – one star for each Major Rocket League event won. Major events are defined as major tournaments that take place regionally and there are three major events held throughout each season. After winning the Rocket League Championship Series X Spring North American Major last May, the team now has six stars surrounding the trophy on the patch and more stars will be added as the team scores more major wins.

The General NRG Rocket League team has always proven to be one of the most competitive teams in the space and this unprecedented partnership between the two brands continues to prepare the team for further success and growth. In addition to the jersey fan voting, the General NRG partnership – a first of its kind in North American Rocket League history – also includes naming rights for the team, as well as sponsorship of the live broadcast. The team’s personalized gameplay during the weekly Rocket Circuit League Championship Series tournaments.
