Being an artist is not easy. Especially for people to see and appreciate your work. Are you a Hudson Valley artist and want a forum to showcase your work? Are you an artist who cares about what is going on in the world? Issues such as social justice, social change and the public good? If you are and think you can express that in your art, keep reading because this might just be the fundraising opportunity you’ve been hoping for.

ArtsWestchester announced “Voices For Change,” an artist grant opportunity designed to promote social awareness through the arts. This program is open to all artists and artist groups in Mid Hudson Valley. This includes the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Ulster and Sullivan.

This is how the “Voices For Change” program works. Artists and art collectives are invited to submit proposals for the grant, and applicants are encouraged to submit projects that include collaborations with cultural, service, or community organizations, and work that promotes in-depth reflection on complex social issues. Your project should reflect a meaningful understanding and analysis of the topic you are presenting. ArtsWestchester will be awarding three project grants of $ 10,000 through a competitive selection process. Check out bad credit loans
