Fla. Insurance Co. drops lawsuit against rival tribal health plans

By Lauren Berg (July 1, 2022, 7:40 p.m. EDT) – A Florida insurance company told a federal judge in New Jersey on Friday that it had agreed to dismiss its lawsuit alleging that a group of companies insurance and marketing had conspired to illegally sell health plans associated with Native American tribes.

Health Option One LLC, doing business as Insurance Care Direct, has entered into a settlement with First Enroll LLC, Kratos Investments LLC and Beeman’s Future Inc. and notified that it has voluntarily dismissed its claims against Infinix Media LLC and RM7 Services LLC, according to filings.
