Ambetter Health Insurance expands to New Jersey: WellCare of New Jersey

During the next open registration period of this year (ongoing Nov 1 – Jan 31, 2022), residents can select Ambetter from WellCare of New Jersey for health coverage on Get Covered New Jersey, New Jersey’s Official health insurance market. WellCare Ambette New Jersey will be offered in 16 counties, including Essex, Passaic, Bergen, Morris, union, Hudson, Somerset, Middle-sex, Mercier, Monmouth, Burlington, ocean, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Atlantic.

WellCare Ambette New Jersey provides essential health services such as prevention and wellness services, maternity and newborn care, pediatric services, mental health and addiction services, hospitalization and drug coverage on arrangement. The plans include access to telehealth, online registration assistance and the My Health PaysTM program, which allows members to earn rewards to use towards health expenses to participate in healthy activities.

WellCare of New Jersey served New Jersey since 2008 and currently serves over 120,000 members under its Medicaid and Medicare plans.
